How do I register online for the Winship Win the Fight 5K?

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

If you absolutely cannot make the run/walk, but you have already registered, you can transfer your registration to someone else. You will need to provide the name, address, phone number, email and shirt size of the person to whom you would like to transfer your registration. The new participant will also need to sign and send us a scanned .pdf of the participant waiver. Send your request to by September 26, 2017.

Will kids join in the run/walk?

Yes. The Winship Win the Fight 5K is a family friendly event. Those under the age of 18 must comply with safety requirements:

  1. On the course, be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is registered for the event.
  2. Submit a minor participant waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Note: For those teams utilizing the team packet pick-up option, please submit the minor participant waiver for those under 18 when submitting the team packet pick-up form. For children ages 8 and under there is no registration fee required as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who is registered for the event (Note: they will not receive a 5K event shirt unless they pay registration fee).   Individuals ages 9 and up are required to pay the registration fee.

Is there an age minimum to participate?

As a participant—no. We welcome participants of all ages.

As a volunteer—yes. Volunteers must be 18 or over to register.

Will children (youth 8 and under) who are not registered for the event receive an event T-shirt?

No, unfortunately, non-paying participants (youth 8 and under) will not receive an event T-shirt. To receive a T-shirt, you must sign up as a registered participant and pay the registration fee.

Can I pick up my timing chip and bib before October 14, 2017?

Yes, on-site registration and packet pick up will take place on Friday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
